Pared Eyewear - The Brand

Pared is the creation of founder and designer Samantha Stevenson and her partner Edward Baker. With the combination of Samantha's design skills and Edwards strong background in the fashion and retail industry together they founded the business in 2011 while based in Sydney, Australia.

Five styles were launched for summer 2012 and since then pared has released a further two collections of eyewear with each range evocative of a certain place and time.

As well as the main eyewear line pared is also known for its collaborations with fashion labels creating covetable limited edition frames.

Pared Eyewear channels the '70s with the release of its latest collection, Le Discotheque.

Pared Eyewear creates boutique-quality unisex sunglasses. This season, the brand evokes the '70s with its collection, Le Discotheque. The pieces are inspired by fashion icons Grace Jones and Bianca Jagger and Andy Warhol (who was rarely seen without his signature glasses). Previous eyewear collections have included collaborations with Australian fashion designer Emma Mulholland and Melbourne jewellery label POMS.

There are six different colourways in the collection. Designs include boldly sculpted frames with scatterings of crystals, metallic details and rose-coloured lenses. Aviator-inspired frames are available in a variety of colours, from tortoiseshell to bright pink. Style names include Funk & Soul, Disco & Fever and Charlie & the Angels.
